Strength for the Calling
Strength for the Calling
Faith first. Strength with purpose.
This collection is a pretty good combination of who I am—a caregiver who lifts weights and relies on God for absolutely everything.
If you know my story, you know I didn't start working out because I wanted to look a certain way. I started because I needed to be stronger to care for my daughters who live with chronic illness.
My why has a name. Actually, it has three of them.
I wanted to be able to lift them when they couldn't walk. Push a wheelchair without struggling. Carry what needed to be carried. And keep my own body strong enough to continue doing the work God had given me to do.
But somewhere along the way, the gym became something more.
It became a place where I could let go for a little while. A place where nobody needed anything from me. Where I wasn't answering questions, managing appointments, researching treatments or being pulled in five different directions.
For an hour, it was just me, the weights, my music and God.
And I discovered that taking care of myself wasn't taking me away from my calling—it was helping prepare me for it.
That's the heart behind Strength for the Calling.
This is faith-based gym wear for women and men who know there is something bigger behind every rep. Maybe you're training to care for someone you love. Maybe you're rebuilding your own strength after a difficult season. Maybe the gym is where you clear your head, pray through the hard stuff, or remind yourself that you're capable of doing difficult things.
Whatever your reason, know your why.
Wear the shirts. Lift the weights. Laugh at the sayings. Let them start conversations. And remember that our greatest strength doesn't come from how much we can deadlift, squat or press.
We build the strength. God gives us the purpose.
Because sometimes the workout isn't about the workout at all.
It's about being strong for the calling. ❤️
