Thankful for Enough
Life is hard right now.
I know that seems to be a recurring theme in my posts lately, but it's our reality.
But tonight, I am sitting here feeling incredibly thankful.
We made rent. Again.
And not only did we make rent, but every other bill is paid, too!
We even have a tiny bit left over.
Now, that little bit will probably go toward gas or groceries, because that's just life right now.
But tonight, I'm not focusing on what we don't have.
I'm focusing on what we do.
I'm thankful for my older kids, who are working so hard and helping make sure our family has what we need.
I'm thankful for jobs. Traditional jobs, not-so-traditional jobs, side businesses, and every opportunity that allows us to bring in a little more.
I'm thankful that even when I look at the numbers and have absolutely NO idea how we're going to make it all work, somehow, another month comes together.
God continues to make a way.
It doesn't mean tomorrow won't bring another challenge.
It doesn't mean everything is suddenly easy.
But tonight, the rent is paid, the bills are paid, and we have enough.
And that is something worth celebrating.
Sometimes God's provision doesn't look like abundance.
Sometimes it looks like enough.
And tonight, enough feels like a pretty big blessing.
Grace carried me yesterday.
Grace is carrying me today.
Grace will carry me tomorrow.
